There is such a wide variety of paid applications for Android phones on the market, how do you decide which ones to spend your money on? You don't want to waste your money if you don't need to. Although, not all of the free Android applications (or apps) will provide exactly what you want. So how do you pick the apps that are best for you? How do you know which are the better apps? We did a trial run on some of the in-demand paid apps for Android phones. From our opinions, these are the top paid Android applications.
Wave Secure is a paid Android app that only costs twenty dollars a year. The basic idea that fuels this paid app is security. If you lose your phone or if someone steals it you can use the app to lock it and track it down via the phone's built in GPS system. You will also be sent text help and other kinds of alerts if a thief tries to replace your SIM card. It even backs up your data. The app can also be used via remote contact to wipe the phone which helps ensure that if it is stolen, nobody else can use it.
In the world of paid Android apps, QuickOffice for Android is one of the most popular. Though there is no actual price listed, the app is great for people who spend a lot of time at work but not in their offices. This application allows you to open Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel files that are stored on your phone's memory card or that get sent to you as Gmail attachments. The app features images, text wrapping and table formatting. The only drawback is that the files it accesses are limited. You will only be able to access the most recent forms of MS Word and MS Excel.
MyBackupPro is a crucial application for those who stress about their phone's security. This paid Android application allows you to create a backup of your phone. It creates a backup of all your apps, phone call history, contacts, settings, text messages, internet bookmarks, phone call log and the list goes on. This application will back up everything on your phone. This can be extremely helpful if you lose your phone or if it gets stolen. You can revitalize all your “lost” data onto your new or replacement phone and get back to your everyday routines. These are just a few of the top paid Android applications out there to choose from. New ones are being constructed on a daily basis. The primary idea for choosing paid applications is to investigate if there is not a free application that will do the same thing. If you unsuccessful in locating an equivalent free application, you can purchase the more expensive application with a clear conscience. Don't forget to think a few times prior to allocating funds to paid applications. You don't want to blow your money if you don't have to!

I have had the iPhone 3g and iPhone 3gs, and I now have a Gallaxy S. So far its been ok, I like that fact that the phone isnt locked down like the iphone is. The only issue are the games. This needs improving if Android wants to really compete with Apple.
